If you send a message through the contact form on our About page, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide so we can read and respond. Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms on our behalf.
We only use that information to handle your inquiry. Do not submit sensitive personal information through the form.
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent spam and automated abuse. Turnstile may process limited browser and device signals to decide whether a submission looks human. That check is for form security only — not analytics or advertising.
Turnstile is separate from our privacy choices banner. Declining analytics cookies does not turn off bot protection on the contact form.
When you first visit, you can accept or decline analytics cookies. We store that choice in your browser’s local storage so we can honor it on later visits. Google Analytics itself only runs on the production site at closetrekkie.com after you accept.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat that as a request to decline analytics cookies and will not load Google Analytics.
To change a previous choice, clear site data for closetrekkie.com in your browser settings, then reload the site and choose again.
We do not sell personal information. Optional analytics run only after you give affirmative consent, consistent with California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA) expectations for third-party website tracking.
